BENJAMIN LYBRAND Benjamin Lybrand is a San Francisco Bay Area based independent filmmaker. Trained mainly as an experimental filmmaker, with a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, he has made numerous short films that have shown at such San Francisco venues as the Artist Television Access and the New Nothing Cinema. His feature-length film, The Bird-O-Bot, was nominated for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Feature at the Shockerfest International Film Festival in 2007. Since then, he has also worked as an editor and associate producer for Santoki Productions, producing content for MSNBC and The Today Show. Benjamin has been working with Teens Turning Green since early 2008 to help bring their revolutionary message to a wider audience. |
